Who we are
Epoxy Metrics ("we," "us," or "our") is a referral service that connects homeowners and businesses with independent, third-party epoxy and resin coating contractors ("partner contractors"). We are not a contractor and do not perform coating work ourselves. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our advertisements, and the lead forms we operate on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram (Meta).
How we share your information with partner contractors
This is the core of what we do, so we state it plainly: when you submit a quote request, we share the information you provide — including your name, phone number, email address, location, and project details — with the partner contractor that serves your area so they can contact you about your project and provide a quote. We match each request with a single partner contractor for your territory; we do not sell your quote request to multiple contractors.
Partner contractors are independent businesses. Once your information is shared with them, their use of it is also governed by their own practices. We require partner contractors to use your information only to respond to your project request.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly: when you fill out a quote form on our website or a lead form in one of our ads, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or location, project type, budget range, and timeline.
Information collected automatically:when you visit our website, we and our service providers collect standard technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site (for example, which advertisement you clicked). We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, for this purpose (see "Advertising and analytics" below).
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
match your project request with a partner contractor in your area and share your request with them; contact you about your request, including by email, phone call, and text message; operate, measure, and improve our advertising and website; maintain records of quote requests, including for billing and quality purposes with our partner contractors; comply with legal obligations; and, if you are outside our current service area, notify you when a vetted partner contractor becomes available near you.
Consent to be contacted
By submitting a quote request, you agree that Epoxy Metrics and the partner contractor matched to your request may contact you about your project by phone call, text message, and email, using the contact information you provided. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt out of further contact at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us at hello@epoxymetrics.com.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on platforms operated by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and use the Meta Pixel and similar tools on our website. These tools use cookies and device identifiers to help us measure the performance of our advertising, understand how visitors use our site, and show our ads to people likely to be interested in our services. Information collected by these tools is also subject to the privacy policies of the platforms that provide them. You can learn about and control Meta's ad preferences through your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.
How long we keep information
We retain quote request records for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining accurate records with our partner contractors, and as required by law. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws — including the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and the California Consumer Privacy Act — to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, and receive a copy of it. We honor reasonable requests of this kind from all users regardless of location. To make a request, email us at hello@epoxymetrics.comwith the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using the contact information associated with your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with partner contractors as described above to fulfill your quote request.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect means the updated policy applies to you.
