Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Epoxy Metrics website and services. By using our website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

What Epoxy Metrics is — and isn't

Epoxy Metrics is a referral and matching service. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, or warrant any coating, flooring, or construction work. We connect people seeking epoxy and resin coating services with independent, third-party partner contractors who serve their area. Partner contractors are not our employees, agents, or representatives; they are independent businesses solely responsible for the services they provide.

Any estimate, quote, contract, scheduling, workmanship, warranty, pricing, or payment arrangement is strictly between you and the partner contractor. Epoxy Metrics is not a party to any agreement you enter into with a partner contractor.

Vetting of partner contractors

We make reasonable efforts to work with reputable partner contractors, which may include reviewing licensing, insurance, and examples of prior work at the time we begin working with them. However, we do not and cannot guarantee any partner contractor's licensing status, insurance coverage, qualifications, pricing, availability, or the quality of their work at any given time. You are responsible for making your own evaluation before hiring any contractor, including verifying current licensing and insurance where applicable.

Using our services

Our services are free for people requesting quotes. When you submit a request, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your project, and you consent to being contacted as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree not to submit false, misleading, or duplicate requests, use our services for any unlawful purpose, or interfere with the operation of our website. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee that a partner contractor is available in your area, that a contractor will contact you within any particular timeframe, that you will receive a quote, or that any particular price or outcome will be available. Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epoxy Metrics will not be liable for any damages arising out of or relating to the services performed by any partner contractor, your dealings with any partner contractor, or your use of our website — including indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Disputes with contractors

If you have a dispute with a partner contractor, you agree to resolve it directly with that contractor. We appreciate hearing about serious concerns with a partner contractor at hello@epoxymetrics.com — feedback helps us decide who we continue to work with — but we are not obligated to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between you and any contractor.

Intellectual property

The Epoxy Metrics name, website, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect means the updated Terms apply to you.
